About Mohan-Dunn Associates, Inc.
New York schools have always been a passion in Sandra Mohan-Dunn’s life. Sandra has served NYC and Long Island as a student, teacher, professional development specialist, volunteer, and curriculum consultant. Her rich experiences have been shared with educators all throughout New York State, as well as many other parts of the nation.
Sandra began her teaching career in Brooklyn’s former CSD 22. Over the years, she served as Project Arts Coordinator, First Grade Teacher, Early Intervention Reading Specialist, and Adult Education Literacy Instructor. Sandra also has served on numerous community boards including the International Dyslexia Association and Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Recent years of Sandra’s journey have had her supporting New York’s schools through curriculum design and professional development. She has shaped Pre-K to 12 mainstream, ELL, dual language, special education, after-school, intervention, advanced, and summer school programs. In 2004, Sandra teamed up with some of the most respected educational and publishing professionals when she created Mohan-DunnAssociates,Inc. Together, this team provides our school communities with the following services:
